Smart Board Lesson Development

link to my group assignment on learning activities by using smartboard..click here
In learning SMART Board application, I feel that it very interesting and interactive. By using the notebook software, I can record each step of a lesson for students to review. The flexibility of it use in the classroom, including the multiple ways in which I can display information (interactive text, images, sound and video files), has been shown to facilitate ESL instruction and support both differentiated learning and universal design for learning (UDL). Now I noticed that the use of an interactive whiteboard like this in my classroom can make my teaching and learning processes more effective.

After go through this course, I would like to thanks Dr. Sadiah and Mr. William for introducing this magic tools to me. I noticed that, after my group assignment's completed, I feel that its very interactive and interesting event though at first we are blank about it and face a lot of technical problems especially during upload selected photos from the internet based on our title which is about nutritious. But then, because of our team work we manage to go through its challenge. We had presented it last week (27 mac 2010) event though at first we face a lot of problems in presenting our group task especially in clicking the icon and during setting up the alignment. But then with the Dr. Sadiah guidance we managed to present it well. Our group able to create an interactive learning process such as:
i)Drag and drop learning activities
ii)Multiple choices questions
iii)Image match
iv)Balloon pop
v)Category sort
vi)Word guess
vii)Beat the time

As a conclusion I agree with Mr. Johnson-Eilola,as he said that:
1) the SMART Board allows users to work with large amounts of information.
2) it offers an information space that invites active collaboration
3) the work produced is often “dynamic and contingent”.

Actually, I like to share all this experience and knowledge with my students but then the cost is too expensive which is more than RM 11,000.00.
